Before planning and manufacturing our film trailer we thought it was best to discus the initial ideas that we had within the genre choice we have chosen, below are the three initial ideas that we discussed.
Initial idea 1 :
Missing Girl
The main points within the plot were:
- A very young girl is missing from her family home.
- The family come to terms realising that they will never see her again.
- A decade passes by , the family leave the home and the memories of her.
- by some unknown fortune she returns to the house, but the young girl is now a young woman.
- She adopts the new family living in the house, with no knowledge that her real family has moved on
- She realises this and tracks down and finds her real family.
- he family has grown and she know has 3 younger siblings.
- She begins to realise that they have moved on and every last memory of her has vanished, no pictures, no possessions, no anything.
- She begins to become distressed at the thought of this and becomes obsessed with the family
- She pots her revenge and begins to take drastic measures, harming and scaring the family.
- The family become aware and try to fight back but they cannot keep up the fight with this mentally disturbed young woman.
Initial idea 2
The black shook (Period Drama, based on a real mith)
The main points within the plot were:
- children are disappearing from the village without a trace
- the village people become suspicious and watch as a large beast captures the children
- the residence try to defend there homes
- the men of the village set out to capture the beast
- they have an eventful night out in the dark fields of the fenland marshes
- some men disappear, some die in battle
- only one man survives, he is scared for his life
- he comes across a young girl, that is naked and stranded lying on the floor
- he bends down to comfort her
- she suddenly turns into the beast
- she savages the man
Initial idea 3:
Baby sitter (The Call)
The main points within the plot are:
- A teenage girl is left in her house to baby sit her Little sister (toddler)
- She puts the her sister to bed as usual, all is as it should be.
- She falls asleep and is woken up by her sister crying
- The small girl explains that there was a man in the house the teenage girl dismisses it as a dream
- The baby sitter feeling paranoid searches the house and fins nothing
- She is then disturbed by shadows and noises in the house
- She checks on her little sister but she is no where to be seen
- She gets a call explaining that her sister has been kidnapped
- she goes on a major quest to find her sister, she will do what ever it takes.
